Rising Phoenix Archery is near Lang Estates – eXp Realty in Troy, Michigan; take your shot and check it out! Rising Phoenix Archery has the most comprehensive archery program in America. Their programs are accredited by USA Archery and serve as one of the largest training centers for beginner, intermediate, and advanced archers. You can be sure that you will gain better expertise with their continuing education plans such as Junior Olympic Archery Development and Adult Archery Development Programs. With help from them, your potential in this field is limitless! Take a step forward to unlock more opportunities to realize your aspirations today with Rising Phoenix Archery’s outstanding classes!

Starting archery classes pave the way to mastering this ancient sport. This course encompasses all of the fundamentals of archery, including safety guidelines and regulations that everyone must abide by in an environment with numerous people using bows and arrows. Additionally, you will learn about various pieces of equipment used for shooting as well as how to maintain perfect accuracy on every attempt! With each session completed comes a greater understanding – giving newbies the foundation needed for successful performance tactics in future endeavors.

In the first week, you’ll learn about essential pieces of equipment, safety protocols, and shooting basics. Week two focuses on your stance and posture; in week three, you get to feel more comfortable with hooking and gripping techniques. The fourth week works on perfecting your set-up by mastering how to coil up properly before drawing back for anchoring – all necessary equipment is provided at no extra charge! Finally, students will benchmark their achievements from weeks prior in the recap during session five. Those that wish for even greater precision levels or comfortability while aiming may purchase an optional finger tab sling after training has finished.

At Rising Phoenix Archery, they are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for archers of all levels. The instructors are certified by USA Archery to employ the same National Training System (NTS) used to train Olympic champions – so you can be sure that your skills will advance at a steady pace with no undue pressure. Sessions regularly include games to help keep the learning process fun as well!

In Intermediate Archery, instructors will guide participants through the concluding five steps of the National Training System to advance beyond the basics. Learners can look forward to discovering how to adjust and employ a sight as well as being exposed to concepts regarding back tension for execution. The course spans 5 weeks with all gear provided. Weeks one through three concentrate on release techniques, understanding back-tension mechanics, and aiming principles; while during weeks four and five you’ll delve into mastering follow-through procedures, assessing reflections on post-shot performance outcomes, plus setting benchmarks.

If you have completed a certified Beginning Archery program, then you are qualified to participate in the archery program. Certain local programs are recognized as well; however, if that is the case for you, an evaluation from one of the coaches will be necessary to waive the requirement of completing Beginning Archery. No matter what your experience level may be with shooting arrows and bows, it does not qualify you to bypass taking this first course.

For both Beginner and Intermediate classes, sessions are offered on Fridays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 12:00 p.m. Class sizes include five archers at the minimum and sixteen at the most, so participants can enjoy a relatively small class. Classes are open to archers 8 years and older; those below age 8 are required to be evaluated before beginning a class.

If you are sixteen or older, the Adults Only Archery program is perfect for anyone regardless of their skill level. The coaches will take beginners through a special beginner’s curriculum while those who’ve attended twice and more have access to intermediate-level and AADP/Club programming each week! Whether you’re a novice archer or an experienced one, this course has something for everyone. Sessions for the Adults Only Archery program are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:30 p.m.

With more and more women discovering the joys of archery, Rising Phoenix Archery is at the forefront by offering classes catered to them. Participation by female students has magnified by over 400% in recent years! This class is offered on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

If you’re ready to shoot for the stars (or targets), then you need to make a stop here!
